The long term field experiments of sowings show that by investing in seed and fertilizer to the same slot can be achieved by 200-300 kilos of barley a better yield per hectare.
In spring 2010 the Danish Farmtest carried out an extensive experiment. It tested the seed and fertilizer sowing depths of 7 different drill. Different machines and different operating principles. VM Direct Seeder places seed and fertilizer in the same row, but the lower depths of the fertilizer.
The test showed that all the machines explained the test well. One, however, was above all others. VM Direct Seeder made the work extremely carefully. Average of three measurements, only VM reached exactly the desired seeding depths.
